After clearing the road from the Drelliad Village to Fort Garnik from Separatist snipers and arriving to the fort, Voidhound and Meteor parted ways. The smuggler went to Rendia Freight HQ and met with Viidu. Viidu had been told what had happened by Corso, and offered a drink to wash away their worries. He informed the smuggler that the blasters that were had stolen belonged to Rogun the Butcher, an unforgiving employer. The smuggler, realizing Rogun would be gunning for them, agreed to help Viidu catch Skavak so they could have the ship back. Wanting to learn about Skavak and his dealings with the separatists, Viidu suggested going to meet Reki, an expert on the Separatists. However, Reki was stuck in the Talloran village, which has been occupied by the Separatists and blockaded by the Republic. Since Viidu was friendly with the Republic commander in charge of the blockade, the smuggler could get inside. But that entrance had to be earned by eliminating some Separatists near the village, to prove that Voidhoud wasn't one of them. Since Talloran village was running out of basic supplies due to the blockade, Viidu gave Voidhound what he called a survival kit, confident that Reki would share the information in exchange.
